Meanwhile, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), will bring the green building conference and expo to Mumbai in November. According to the current program, India Greenbuild will be held Nov. 2-4, 2017 in partnership with the ABEC Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. The expo will converge Indian and global industry leaders, experts and top professionals dedicated to sustainable building.
“Greenbuild is the place where the passion of the green building movement comes alive,” said Mahesh Ramanujam, president, and CEO of the U.S. Green Building Council and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). According to Mahesh, China, India, and Brazil are engines of green growth.
“We are at the threshold for exponential growth in the building materials and construction sector in India, and the green building movement will be of utmost significance going forward. We are extremely pleased that Greenbuild India 2017 will be launched alongside ACETECH in Mumbai, making it the holistic destination for the building materials and construction sector in the country,” said Sumit Gandhi, managing director of ABEC.
