G. Kalyan Kumar, Managing Editor On the occasion of Kuwait’s National Day on February 25, Business Views extends its greetings. Kuwait, led by its Emir, Excellency Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah is making great progress in economic and social sectors. We are also happy to publish a message from Kuwait’s Ambassador to India, Excellency Fahad Ahmad Alawadhi highlighting the country’s achievements and its bilateral relations with India. The National Day of Kuwait marks the country’s independence from the United Kingdom in 1961. It is also the day when Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah ascended the throne in 1950. Besides the fame as a wealthy country, Kuwait is also the first Arab country in the Gulf to have an elected parliament.
