MQDC India, the Indian subsidiary of Thailand-based Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC), a major real estate development company, launched its second co-working facility in Gurgaon, near New Delhi on December 1.

The realty company also has plans to launch luxury homes in Delhi and Gurgaon (Gurugram) very soon.

The company's first co-working center at Greater Kailash II, in South Delhi, opened in 2019; it has an area of 22,000 sq m and an occupancy rate of 80 to 90 percent.

At a special invitation-only event on November 30th at the Imperial Hotel, Connaught Place, New Delhi, MQDC held a presentation and press conference where its India plans were unveiled in all detail. The sophisticated mixed-use developer has 30 years of leadership experience in Thailand's real estate sector.

MQDC (India) has plans to set up five more coworking facilities in the NCR, announced MQDC India Country Director Chulamas Jitpatima. The new co-working space named Whizdom Club on Golf Course Road Gurgaon, is double the size of its first co-working space facility in South Delhi.

Luxury apartments in Delhi and Gurgaon

India Country Director Chulamas Jitpatima explained that the upper-end Thai developer is also preparing to develop luxury apartment projects in Delhi and Gurgaon.

To this end, the company is already in talks with some of India's top developers for partnerships, and some sites are also under evaluation.

Jitpatima expressed optimism that the company could announce its local partner by early 2024 and launch the first residential project by 2025.

During the presentation, the famed Thai developer showcased its flagship luxury properties in Bangkok and invited affluent buyers from India to fulfill their dream of a third home abroad.
