The delicious and diverse menu
My in-person experience on Saturday, August 19th noon became more memorable with the opportunity to taste many delicious flavors alongside several signature dishes. They included Tawey da Meat Walla Tikka, Meat Di Chaamp Adrak Walli, and more.
The lunch became remarkable for its variety and took me to uncharted areas of delicious Punjabi cuisine. There are great options for starters, main courses, and desserts and there is room for the culinary preferences of vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
I started with a few fried dishes including paneer tikka and chicken tangdi. In the delightful main course, a glass of sweet Lassi helped me as the right appetizer. After that, papads jostled for attention and tasted Amuse Bouche Punjabi Style, Kalimirch, and Dal ka Papad with a variety of chutneys for a wonderful experience.
In-person experience with signature dishes
The platter had Chooran Walli Bhindi, Tikka Singh Da Meat Tarriwala, Murgh Dahi Kali Mirch Walla, ChakunderMoongphali Di Tikki, 2 Din Walli Dal, and Ambi Walla Tandoori Paneer for the main course.
In the array of signature dishes, I can give a thumbs up to Tawey da Meat wala Tikka and Meat Di Champak Adrak Waali as very exciting. The Thali platter was a sumptuous experience with an array of spicy curries, nice tandoori rotis, and other breads including the yummy makki di roti and rumali roti. Punjabi Chole and Chaap Masaledar were other options to choose from.
Delicious Punjabi Thali
The nice chicken and meat curries are very enticing. The specially curated Amritsari fish curry was top-notch. Certainly, Chef Tikka Manpreet Singh can take credit for creating a memorable fare of Punjabi flavors for the customer as a complete mix of sweet, sour, and savory items that would multiply cravings for the Punjabi flagship food. To round up the lunch session, I found Rau Di Kheer and Chakunder Da Halwa to be the best choices from the vast and colorful dessert platter.
Punjabi cuisine has a great legacy
Punjabi cuisine has been famous as a rich tapestry of flavors that blends traditions and trends in this Northern part of India.
Apart from the professional training, Chef Manpreet Sigh has pioneered in drawing copiously on the culinary elements from his royal moorings and recreating the best in the Royal Kitchens of Punjab.
Chef Tikka has succeeded in recreating the rustic flavors of Majha, Malwa, and Daoba in the Punjabi heartland via bold and spicy food offerings. Punjabi cuisine has a record of assimilating many influences into its repertoire of tastes. Surely, the Punjabi food show has left a nostalgic memory in me, thanks to the masterly curation, style, and substance of the food.
